Today, John Ribic, Jr. leads a team of 55 with a clear mission: to have Rimeco parts on everything that flies. To stay competitive and prepare for a planned 3–4x expansion over the next decade, Rimeco is leveraging Industry 4.0 innovations with support from MAGNET. Working closely with MAGNET’s team, Rimeco has reimagined its machining processes—integrating automation, connected factory tools like Harmoni devices on 30 machines, and two new robotic systems (one already fully operational). These changes not only improve efficiency, but also open the door for higher wages by eliminating redundant tasks.
Ribic notes that implementing advanced technology has energized the workforce and positioned Rimeco to offer even greater value to clients. “It brings another level of interest and dynamic to the company,” he shared. The payoff? Customers turn to Rimeco not just to make parts, but to help solve complex manufacturing challenges.
