Cleveland-based full-service IBC tote management provider Premier Container has more than 30 years of experience creating innovative, sustainable solutions to alleviate customers’ concerns about tote cleaning and quality. In the fall of 2022, Premier was in the transition period among design, development and installation of new automated equipment to continue to meet the ever-growing needs of their customers.

Looking for outside perspective and expertise to ensure the automation they designed and implemented would be used to its full capacity, Premier Container approached MAGNET. Once our team of operations experts learned more about Premier’s current production methods, they conducted operational time studies to ensure constraint operations were understood and will then be maximized with upcoming automation implementation.

The studies also exposed critical constraint of a continuous manufacturing line, which prompted the production and implementation of a labor balancing calculator.

Without adding any labor, Premier Container boosted overall output by 11% through implementing MAGNET’s recommendations.
