Niles Expanded Metals & Plastics, located in Niles Ohio, manufactures and distributes expanded metal, micro mesh and ex-perforated metal. The company operates under ISO 9001, and its aerospace division is further certified to AS9100.

In July of 2019, Niles approached MAGNET asking for assistance to improve their ISO9001 system. Once those improvements were implemented, Niles then requested MAGNET perform internal audits, which is necessary to maintain the quality certification.

Currently, Niles doesn’t have any trained auditors to ensure all machines and processes are in ISO and AS compliance. MAGNET Senior Operations Expert Gwido Dlugopolsky assisted Niles in preparing for their third-party audit.

Through Dlugopolsky’s work, Niles has been able to maintain its ISO and AS certifications and ultimately help ensure continued quality and customer satisfaction.
