Manufacturing Excellence on Display: MAGNET’s Exhibit Debuts at the North Central Ohio Industrial Museum
Location, location, location. The North Central Ohio Industrial Museum location, nestled in the basement of the old Mansfield Reformatory has all senses heightened when visitors take in the exhibits that highlight Industry and Manufacturing through its historic past. These exhibits spotlight the people, places, and inventions that were created in the 19th and 20th centuries, while also appreciating the new era in which we live today and the innovation that is moving our area forward.
MAGNET is honored to install a display in this museum, cementing manufacturing's importance and contributions to Northeast Ohio. Did you know that manufacturing is driving nearly 50% of our region's economy? Visitors who see the new exhibit will learn that fact, and that Ohio ranks 3rd nationally for manufacturing employment, behind California and Texas. A video of MAGNET's consulting services and impact on local manufacturing will share the mission of driving manufacturing in Northeast Ohio with all who visit the space.
The ribbon-cutting for this engaging display took place on August 29, 2024, lining up with the Champions of Industry Hall of Fame Dinner. After hearing from Kevin Walker of the Ohio MEP, MAGNET President and CEO Ethan Karp offered thanks to NCOIM for inclusion in this important space, and Director of Client Engagement Janelle Lee highlighted the collaboration with Jerry Miller, president of NCOIM, as well as Optic Nerve out of Columbus who created the display, Bill Reid of re:Id who designed the display and Jay Miller of DRM productions who created the multimedia portion of the display.
Thank you to the North Central Oho Industrial Museum for preserving the heritage and highlighting the growth of manufacturing and industry in this area for the benefit of present and future generations. MAGNET is thrilled to be included in this journey!
