Still Have Questions?
It breaks down this way:
- You: 20 minutes (likely less) for your fit call, plus another 30 minutes for your intro call
- Your whole team: 3 hours. 2 hours with MAGNET’s supply chain expert for the facilitated assessment, then another hour together for the final report and roadmap session
We find that most teams are energized to have more internal conversation, especially after the first meeting.
That’s exactly why this assessment exists. Many manufacturers struggle with getting their planning, procurement, and operations teams aligned.
This process helps uncover those disconnects in a structured, low-lift way—without requiring a big time investment. It also doesn’t tell your team what to do. Instead, it gives you a shared view of your current state and a common language to discuss priorities. Alignment often happens naturally during the reporting session.
We recommend at least 3 leaders. This typically includes representation from:
- Executive Leadership
- Supply Chain
- Operations
- Procurement
- Continuous Improvement
- Sales & Marketing
Through the 5-stage scoring model ranging from siloed operations (Level 1) to fully orchestrated, strategic ecosystems (Level 5), it identifies strengths, vulnerabilities, and practical recommendations for improvement. You’ll also receive a visual maturity model that helps your team understand what “good” looks like across each area.
No. The Supply Chain Resiliency Assessment stands alone as a valuable tool for identifying risks and improvement opportunities. You’ll receive a full report, a guided review session, and specific recommendations. You might decide after the assessment that you'd like to engage with MAGNET for support with some of the recommendations, but you might determine that your team is well-suited to tackle those next steps on its own.
Some companies choose to partner with MAGNET on follow-up supply chain initiatives—like supplier diversification, inventory strategy, or technology adoption. Others use the report internally to guide DIY improvements. Either way, the insights are yours to keep.
MAGNET gets funding from Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership to help Ohio's small and medium-sized manufacturers increase sales, create jobs and generate cost savings through technological innovation, workforce training and improved management practices.
