J.B. Davis - a member of MAGNET’s Strategy, Marketing, and Sales Practice (SMS) - partners with other MAGNET subject matter experts and outside partners to drive clients’ revenue by aligning products, operations, and branding with marketplace dynamics.
J.B. taps-into 25 years’ experience managing market research, moderating ideation, crafting brand strategy, and building growth platforms for a wide variety of companies.
Career highlights include:
-Developing a global employment brand for $100 billion pharma company to replace patchwork positions with unified voice, effort that entailed conducting global research and employing data to sell-into senior leadership
-Distilling of B2B, B2C, and B2B2C research into single statement for Blue Cross Blue Shield system and supporting essence with rationale, tools, and training so managers across U.S. could infuse thinking into touchpoints and operations; and
-Co-founding a social enterprise with the tag line of “Build well, do good” help a medical device startup and other small-to mid-size companies develop realistic growth strategies aligned with market realities.
J.B. has published strategy articles, lectured at a leading business school, and graduated from Wesleyan (BA), Columbia, (MPA), and Kellogg (KMI). A father of three teenagers and a five season soccer coach, he lives on Cleveland’s East Side.
