This year’s graduates represented a diverse array of workforce and community partners, including:
The event opened with a reminder from CoachU Director, Bryan Wortmann, of the supportive network participants now belong to—one that values curiosity, connection, and continuous learning. Following a program overview and future updates, the heart of the ceremony unfolded through “Demonstrations of Learning,” where graduates reflected on their experiences and shared how the tools they gained—like trauma-informed coaching, motivational interviewing, and DEI strategies—are already changing the way they serve clients.
One graduate shared how stepping back and asking the right questions created space for a client to find their own clarity. Another described using coaching methods to help a client define success on their own terms, rather than prescribing solutions. These stories illustrated not only new skills, but also a mindset shift—toward empathy, empowerment, and long-term impact.
CoachU’s data shows that past cohorts consistently report growth in confidence, skill, and job placement outcomes. This year's cohort was no different. Through hands-on practice, peer learning, and expert-led sessions, participants gained a stronger understanding of career pathways, workforce systems, and the real-world challenges clients face.
The graduation concluded with certificates, photos, and plenty of celebration. With recruiting already underway for Cohort 8, the CoachU network continues to grow, fueled by passionate professionals dedicated to helping others succeed.
Congratulations to Cohort 7—your impact is just beginning!
