INNOVATION, TALENT, TRANSFORMATION, LEADERSHIP
New Manufacturing Innovation, Technology & Job Center Now Open!
Two years ago, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District voted for MAGNET to buy the closed Margaret A. Ireland School. Just over one year ago, construction began on what would become the Manufacturing Innovation, Technology and Job Center and our new headquarters. This month, the building officially opens for work, tours, experiences, consultations and more!
The building – a beacon of manufacturing – is ready to welcome all visitors, from students to manufacturers. With the continued goal of making the region the nation's manufacturing capital, we worked to ensure the new space and our work could happen in a highly visible Cleveland location near neighborhood residents. MAGNET hopes to positively change the perception of manufacturing among underrepresented communities and continually demonstrate our commitment to equity and inclusion. Read more about our new building and why we do the work we do here.
Community Open House
Mark your calendars for October 28, as we open the doors for a celebration of all things community, manufacturing and technology. Festivities include: free food anddrinks, playgrounds andbasketball courts, building tours, games and giveaways.
Bring anyone, bring everyone to see the power of manufacturing highlighted in every nook and cranny of the new space. Stay up to date on the celebration here.
