Careers - Purchasing and Contracts Associate

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Systems and Reporting Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting the Client Cultivation, Delivery and Finance teams in their efforts working with manufacturers in Northeast Ohio. The Purchasing and Contracts Associate will assist the Sales team with reviewing and proofing proposals as well as reviewing project history and prior client interactions. This position will also be responsible for reconciling paperwork and supporting documentation from the Delivery and Finance teams with subcontractor and billing documentation. The Purchasing and Contracts Associate will work with both CRM and project management software to support MAGNET.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct high-level research of potential service providers for review and contact by other MAGNET staff
• Work within CRM to input and update client history
• Develop reports and activity history out of CRM or and/or via information provided by Client Cultivation and/or Delivery staff
• Analyze booking and revenue history with clients for Sales and/or Delivery staff
• Run reports and analytics on historical activity and performance and other data as requested
• Support contract review and development with Client Cultivation team
• Support budget review and development with Delivery team
• Support and complete forms for project set-up
• Manage developed templates and resources for both the Client Cultivation and Delivery teams, and adjust resources when needed
• Suggest functional improvements and adjustments when changes in the business warrant them

Minimum Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required; business or engineering degree preferred

Essential Experience:
• Proven experience with data and analytics
• Proven experience working with teams to execute simple to complex solutions for internal use
• Experience analyzing large-scale information and balancing risk vs. benefits in decision-making

Specific Skills:
• Ability to thoroughly review and analyze information and summarize concisely
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
• Knowledge of CRMs is preferred
• Project management experience is preferred
