We at MAGNET are excited to announce that we’ll be continuing our efforts to help match U.S. military veterans with quality jobs in Northeast Ohio’s manufacturing industry, thanks in great part to a generous donation from Charter One. Today, Charter One Vice President and Regional Business Development Officer Peter Giavara (pictured right) presented MAGNET President and Chief Executive Officer Dan Berry (left) with a check for $26,500 to continue our veterans program during a special presentation at a Veterans Career Expo at the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland. "Our partnership with MAGNET will help returning servicemen and women find jobs that utilize the excellent skills they developed in the military," Giavara said. "This innovative program has already helped us connect 70 veterans with quality manufacturing careers in Northeast Ohio, and Charter One’s donation will help us keep this awesome effort going."
